Argentine Winger Carlos Daniel Auzqui Signs with Chilean Club OHiggins
Former Ferencváros Player Returns to South America
After a successful stint in Hungary, Auzqui makes a move to Chile
Argentine professional footballer Carlos Daniel Auzqui has signed a contract with Chilean club OHiggins. The 31-year-old winger, who previously played for Hungarian club Ferencváros, joined OHiggins on February 12, 2022.
Auzqui began his professional career in Argentina with River Plate in 2010. He then moved to Europe, where he played for Estudiantes, Mallorca, and Torino. In 2018, he returned to South America to play for Lanús. In 2021, he joined Ferencváros, where he made a significant impact, scoring several goals and providing numerous assists.
Auzqui's move to OHiggins marks a return to South America for the talented winger. He will be hoping to continue his impressive form for his new club and help them achieve success in the Chilean Primera División.
