Breaking News: Eagles sign Nick Gates, elevate Campbell and Jenkins

Philadelphia Eagles make roster moves ahead of Monday Night Football

Gates activated from IR, Campbell and Jenkins elevated from practice squad

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed center Nick Gates to the active roster and elevated wide receiver Parris Campbell and defensive end E.J. Jenkins from the practice squad ahead of their Monday Night Football matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Gates, a three-year starter at center for the Eagles, has been on injured reserve since suffering a Lisfranc injury in Week 15 of the 2021 season. He has been practicing with the team in recent weeks and is expected to start on Monday night.

Campbell, a former first-round pick of the Colts, was signed to the Eagles' practice squad in September. He has appeared in two games this season, catching one pass for 11 yards.

Jenkins, an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma, has also appeared in two games for the Eagles this season. He has recorded one tackle and one quarterback hit.

The Eagles are hoping that the addition of Gates will help stabilize their offensive line, which has struggled at times this season. Campbell and Jenkins provide depth at wide receiver and defensive end, respectively.
